Overview:
Our in-house training workshop, Introduction to a Communication Friendly Environment, aims to explore the principles behind creating an environment within your school that is suitable for all pupils, but particularly children who suffer from speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). A communication friendly environment supports the development of all children’s communication skills and can also be seen as removing barriers to communication, whilst supporting their learning, social and emotional development. Participating in this course will not only help you enhance your classroom learning but help you understand how you play a vital role in creating a communication friendly environment for children with SLCN.
